Breeders notes: DIOGENES is bred on the highly successful Star Kingdom/Sir Tristram cross
with a duplication of Biscay who has crossed successfully with members of the Northern Dancer line
especially the Danehill branch, but also with Scenic.
DIOGENES boasts a rare strain of the stallion Great Nephew whose third dam,
Sister Sarah, is also granddam of Northern Dancer's sire, Nearctic.
